Alyzande Renard

Paganism

Alyzande at West Kennet Long Barrow in Wiltshire.I realise that most people reading this will think that there are no such as witches, that anyone professing to be a druid is a bit bonkers.

However, here I am, a real living witch; and professing to follow druidry as sane and natural as the flow of a river or sway of a tree branch.

When the Druids were massacred by the invading Romans, their teachings were driven underground. Mixed with the studies of Anglo-Saxon sorcerors (leochs) and folk lores and cunning, witchcraft carried on the natural progression of the indigenous religion of the British Isles.

Druidry and Witchcraft, brother and sister, ebb and revive but never die. Todays wise crafts have their feet in the past but their faces turned firmly to the future.

Velvetfox and MoonwillowMy path

I'm a Pagan, a polytheist animist. I follow a natural shamanic witchcraft and gentle druidry. I used to run a few groups like Apple Grove and Sherwood Grove (British Druid Order), Nottingham Wicca Circle. I now help to lead Melody Grove, an independent druid group.
